Orakzai is a district located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is situated in the northwest of the country and shares its borders with the districts of Khyber, Kurram, and Hangu. The district has an area of 1,538 square kilometers and a population of approximately 400,000 people. The main language spoken in Orakzai is Pashto, and the majority of the population is Muslim. The district is known for its natural beauty, with mountains, valleys, and rivers that attract tourists and hikers. Agriculture and livestock farming are the main sources of income for the people of Orakzai, with wheat, maize, and vegetables being the major crops grown in the district. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is taking steps to improve the infrastructure and economy of the region, with projects such as the construction of roads and the provision of electricity to rural areas.
